How do I return/exchange an item?

For a full refund to your original method of payment, you have 30 days from the date we send you the shipping confirmation email to return the item in-store or by mail. If there are multiple shipments in your order, you have 30 days from the date of the last shipment confirmation email. Returns received or processed outside of this window will be refunded as an electronic gift card or physical gift card.

For easy and free returns/exchanges, bring your item and receipt, invoice or order confirmation to any edcclothing.com store in the United States. . Online orders must be paid in U.S. dollars for returns or exchanges at U.S. stores and cannot be returned or exchanged at stores outside the United States. Once a refund is initiated, it may take 3-5 business days to appear in your account, depending on the payment method used.

  2. To allow us to track your return, please use our return service by selecting our preferred carrier and using the return label we email you or the pre-printed return label included with your order invoice.

— Please note that a $7 fee will be deducted from your refund when using this service. Returns Services helps confirm the status of your return and track its delivery progress for added security. Redemption is free.

What is the return policy for online orders?

  • Items must be shipped back to us or returned in-store within 30 days of receipt of shipping confirmation email. If there are multiple shipments in your order, you have 30 days from the date of the last shipment confirmation email.
  • Items must be in original condition.
  • Please note that we are unable to accept returns without your receipt, invoice or order confirmation.

Returns received and/or processed within 30 days of the shipping confirmation email window will be refunded as an eGift Card and sent to the email address used on your order.

What is your exchange policy for online orders?

You can redeem it anytime, for free! If the size/color you want is no longer in stock, you may return it for a refund. Please note that you can only exchange the same item for a new size, color or length (if applicable). We are unable to accept exchanges without your receipt, invoice or order confirmation.

What is your holiday return policy?

Purchases made between November 1 and December 31 are fully refundable to your original method of payment by January 31 of the following year with the original receipt, invoice or order confirmation.

Are there any return exclusions/exceptions?

Some items will come with a tag that must be retained for returns or exchanges.
Items purchased with same-day shipping speeds are not eligible for digital exchange.
Products marked as final sale, customized, or personalized are final and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, cancellations, or changes. This does not include items that are defective, damaged, or do not match their description.
Can I return items from multiple orders in one package?

Yes – you can return items from multiple orders in one return package. You only pay a one-time $7 return service fee.

Create a digital return for only one of the orders, otherwise the system will think you sent a separate return.
You must include the order invoice for each order with your return package so that our distribution center knows which order each returned item belongs to. Failure to provide an invoice for each order may result in the merchandise being returned to you.
When will my exchange order be mailed to me?

Please allow approximately three weeks for our distribution center to deliver and process your return and send you an exchange order.

If any of your exchange items are out of stock during this period and the return is delivered to and processed at our fulfillment center within 30 days of your receipt of the shipping confirmation email, you will receive the original Payment method is fully refunded.

When will I receive my refund?

Please allow approximately three weeks for your return to be delivered and processed by our distribution center. Once a refund is initiated, it may take 3-5 business days to appear in your account, depending on the payment method used.

If you placed your order in store and paid cash, any refund, cancellation or return will result in an email asking you to return to a U.S. Abercrombie & Fitch or Abercrombie kids store within 10 days to receive your refund. If you do not return to the store within 10 days, merchandise credit in the form of an e-gift card will be sent to the email address used in your order.

My return package shows it was delivered, but I have not received my refund.

Once your return package arrives at one of our carrier’s consolidation centers, it may be marked “Delivered” until it reaches our distribution center. A “Delivered” scan does not always mean that the return package has been received by our fulfillment center or that the refund has been processed.

After handing your return to the carrier, please allow approximately three weeks for our fulfillment center to deliver/process your return and the refund to be credited to your account.
